Can I withdraw to my card?

You can't choose a card as a withdrawal method. But if you deposited by card, we may, at our discretion, refund part or all of a withdrawal to that card instead of paying it by the method you chose. We do this mainly when there's been little trading compared with the card deposit. We email you when we do, and any remaining amount is paid by the method you chose.

If part of your withdrawal went to your card

  • Check your Transaction History. In your client area, the refund is listed as a card refund, with the amount.
  • Check your card statement. The refund shows there as a credit under the same name as your deposit. See What will appear on my card statement?
  • Allow up to 14 business days. How soon the refund appears depends on your card company.
  • It won't reach your bank account. If a withdrawal has left your Zentrader account but hasn't arrived in your bank, check whether we emailed you about a card refund.

Good to know

  • Refunds go only to the card you deposited with.
  • Later card deposits may be limited. After a refund, deposits with that card may be restricted.
  • Your own card only. Card deposits must be made with a card in your own name. If cards in other people's names are used, we may close your account.
  • Card deposits are for trading. Using a card deposit to turn credit into cash (credit card cashing) isn't permitted. If we see it, we refund the deposit to the card and may close your account. See Deposit and withdrawal rules.
