How long do deposits take?

Deposits are credited to your account automatically. How soon depends on the method:

  • Turbo Deposit (bank transfer): typically within 15 minutes of sending. We credit your deposit as soon as we're notified that your transfer has arrived.
  • Card: immediately.
  • Crypto: once the network confirms the transfer, usually within a few minutes. Busy networks can take longer.

When a deposit is credited, its status under Recent deposits changes to Completed. For Turbo Deposit, you'll also get a confirmation email.

Bank transfers at night, at weekends and on holidays

You can make a Turbo Deposit request at any time, but your bank decides when the money actually moves. Many banks send transfers straight away at any hour, but some send a transfer made at night, at the weekend or on a holiday on the next business day. Your transfer slip or banking app shows this as the value date. If the value date is a later business day, your deposit is credited on that day, usually at the start of it.

Banks also run system maintenance, often at night or at the weekend, and a transfer may wait until it ends. Your bank's website or app announces its maintenance times.

Automatic crediting also needs the amount and the transfer name to match your request exactly. If something was different, your money isn't lost. See I made a mistake with my bank transfer (Turbo Deposit).
