How to deposit by bank transfer (Turbo Deposit)

Turbo Deposit is our bank transfer method for yen accounts. It's free, works 24 hours a day every day, and you can send the money from any bank in Japan. Each deposit request gets its own transfer details, and your deposit is credited automatically once the transfer arrives.

  1. Go to my.zentrader.com, log in and choose Deposit Funds, then Turbo Deposit.
  2. Enter the amount, and choose a receiving bank if you're asked to. The bank you pick is the Zentrader account you'll send the money to. You can send it from any bank in Japan, including online banks. The minimum is shown on screen (usually ¥5,000) and the maximum is ¥500,000 per request. The first time, you may also be asked for your name in katakana and romaji; this lets us match your transfer automatically.
  3. Send the request. The transfer details appear on screen and are emailed to you. They're valid for 72 hours.
  4. Make the transfer from your bank. Read the transfer details carefully and follow them exactly: the amount you requested, the account shown, and the transfer name shown. What goes in the transfer name depends on the receiving bank, and both the account and the transfer name change with every request, so never reuse details from an earlier deposit.
  5. That's it. Your deposit is credited automatically once the transfer arrives, and you'll get a confirmation email. Transfers between Japanese banks are usually quick, but some banks only send them during business hours.

Good to know

  • Need to change something? If you want a different amount or bank, or the 72 hours have passed, just make a new request. There's nothing to cancel and no penalty.
  • Made a mistake? If you entered the wrong transfer name, left it out, or sent a different amount, reply to the deposit email with a screenshot or statement image showing the transfer, and we'll match it for you.
  • Refunds go through us, not your bank. We can't accept a bank recall (組戻し). If you need a refund or sent money by mistake, contact support or reply to the deposit email and we'll return it to you directly. Asking your bank to recall a transfer may lead to your account being suspended.
  • Your own account only. Transfer from a bank account in your own name. See Deposit and withdrawal rules.
  • Not credited? See My deposit hasn't arrived.
