We don't charge any fees on deposits. The limits depend on the method.
Limits
| Method | Minimum | Maximum |
|---|---|---|
| Bank transfer (Turbo Deposit) | ¥5,000 for most banks, a little higher for some | ¥500,000 per deposit |
| Card | ¥5,000 ($50) | Shown on the deposit page |
| Crypto | ¥5,000 ($50) | ¥5,000,000 ($50,000) per deposit |
For other currencies, the limits are the equivalent in your account's base currency. Turbo Deposit is for yen accounts.
The deposit page always shows the limits for your account. Card deposits also have a monthly limit. When it's reached, the Credit Card option shows the date it becomes available again. To deposit more than the maximum, contact support.
Fees
- We charge nothing for any deposit method.
- Bank transfer: your bank's transfer fee is paid by you. Send the exact amount of your request and pay the fee on top. If your bank asks who pays the fee, choose to pay it yourself. If the fee is taken out of the amount, we receive less than you requested, and the deposit can't be credited automatically. See I made a mistake with my bank transfer (Turbo Deposit).
- Card: some cards are billed in US dollars. If yours isn't a US dollar card, your card company converts the charge and may add a mark-up or a foreign transaction fee. See How to deposit by card.
- Crypto: your wallet or exchange charges its usual network fee. Pay it on top of the amount rather than deducting it from what you send.
- No account fees. There's no fee for having an account, or for an account you aren't using.
Currencies
Your account's base currency is set when you open the account, based on the country or region where you live, and it can't be changed. Deposits are always credited in that currency. You enter the amount in your account's currency, and that's the amount credited, even when you pay in crypto or your card is billed in US dollars.
