What are the minimum and maximum trade amounts?

You can trade from ¥500 to ¥100,000 per trade ($5 to $1,000, or the equivalent in your account's base currency). The same limits apply to HIGH/LOW, TOUCH and SPREAD.

Good to know

  • The maximum can be lower on some assets and in some market conditions, for example when the market is very volatile. If an amount isn't available, the trading screen tells you when you try to buy, and you can choose a smaller amount.
  • Open trades: you can have up to 100 trades open at the same time.
  • Total exposure: there's also a limit on the total amount you can have in open trades at once. It depends on market conditions. If you reach it, wait for some trades to settle before opening more.
  • Demo account: the same limits apply when you practise on the demo account.
