How does HIGH/LOW work?

In a HIGH/LOW trade you decide whether the price will finish higher or lower than your entry price when the trade expires. If you're right, you receive the payout shown when you bought. If the price finishes exactly at your entry price, the trade loses.

How to place a HIGH/LOW trade

  1. Choose an asset.
  2. Choose an expiry time.
  3. Enter your amount: ¥500 to ¥100,000 ($5 to $1,000, or the equivalent in your account's base currency).
  4. Check the payout shown.
  5. Tap HIGH if you think the price will finish above your entry price, or LOW if you think it will finish below.

Example: you buy HIGH on USD/JPY with a 15-second expiry at a 200% payout, staking ¥1,000. If the price is above your entry price after 15 seconds, you receive ¥2,000. If it's at or below your entry price, the trade loses.

Expiry times, payouts and assets

  • Expiry times: from 15 seconds to 24 hours. The times on offer depend on the asset. See Expiry times.
  • Payouts: up to 200%. The payout is shown before you buy and is fixed once you enter.
  • Assets: HIGH/LOW is available on every asset: currency pairs, cryptocurrencies, synthetic indices, gold and silver.

Closing early

On trades of 3 minutes or longer, you can close early for a partial payout until 2 minutes before expiry. See Can I close a trade early?
