Ultimate Guide to Depositing and Withdrawing Cryptocurrencies from Japan

Overview

Zentrader allows clients in Japan to deposit and withdraw funds in a variety of top cryptocurrencies. When you deposit cryptocurrency, it is immediately converted at the current market rate and credited to your Zentrader account in Japanese Yen (JPY).

Likewise, when you withdraw cryptocurrency, the JPY amount is debited from your account and converted into the cryptocurrency of your choice—then sent on-chain to your wallet.

Zentrader charges no fees for any cryptocurrency deposit or withdrawal.

How to Deposit with Cryptocurrency

1. Log In to Your Zentrader Account

• Visit Zentrader and sign in with your credentials.

• From the main dashboard, browse to the Banking section and click Deposit.

2. Select “Cryptocurrency Deposit”

• On the Deposit page, choose Cryptocurrency Deposit as your funding method.

• You will see a screen similar to this:

3. Choose Your Desired Cryptocurrency and Deposit Amount

• Select the cryptocurrency you want to deposit (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, etc.)

• Enter the deposit amount in Japanese Yen (JPY). Zentrader will convert that JPY amount into the equivalent cryptocurrency at the current market rate.

4. Click “Confirm” to Generate Your Deposit Address

• After entering your JPY deposit amount, click Confirm.
• Follow the prompts and you’ll then be redirected to our payment page.
• You will see a screen like this, displaying a unique deposit address and QR code for your chosen coin:

5. Send Funds from Your Wallet or Exchange

• Copy the deposit address exactly (or scan the QR code) into your own cryptocurrency wallet or exchange app.

• Make sure you select the correct network when sending.

• Important: Send the exact crypto amount generated by Zentrader. Do not round up or down; decimals matter (up to six decimal places).

• Pay any network (miner/validator) fee from your own wallet so that the blockchain transaction goes through.

• Transactions must be sent within 20 minutes of address generation, otherwise the address-amount pair will expire and you’ll need to generate a new deposit request.

6. Wait for Blockchain Confirmations

• Once your transaction is broadcast, it will take 1–15 minutes (depending on the network) to receive enough confirmations.

• Zentrader’s system will automatically detect the incoming deposit once confirmed on-chain. You do not need to submit any manual proof.

• When the blockchain confirms your transaction, you will be automatically redirected back to your Zentrader dashboard.

7. Funds Will Be Credited in JPY

• Your Zentrader account will be credited in Japanese Yen (JPY).

• Typically, this entire process—from sending funds to seeing your JPY balance—takes 1–2 minutes after confirmations.

• You will receive a confirmation email as soon as your deposit is fully credited.

8. Important Notes for Deposits

• Single-Use Addresses: Each deposit address is valid for one-time use and only for the exact amount displayed. If you wish to deposit again, change the amount, or switch coins, you must create a new deposit request.

• Exact Amount Required: If you send even 0.000001 BTC more or less than the required deposit amount, Zentrader cannot automatically credit it.

• Decimal Precision: Cryptocurrencies are often denominated to 6–8 decimal places. If you truncate or round incorrectly, your funds may be lost or delayed.

• Trading vs. Immediate Withdrawal: Funds deposited via cryptocurrency must be used primarily for trading. Zentrader reserves the right to return withdrawals to the original method of deposit if you attempt to withdraw immediately without trading (e.g., if you deposit via crypto but request a bank withdrawal).

• Network Fees: Always choose to pay the network fee on your side (i.e., “Subtract fee from amount” in your wallet). If you do not include enough network fee, the transaction may remain pending or fail.

How to Withdraw with Cryptocurrency

1. Log In to Your Zentrader Account

• Sign in to your Zentrader account and navigate to the Banking section.

2. Add or Update Your Crypto “Saved Information”

• Under Banking, click Saved Information.

• Click on your desired cryptocurrency.

• Enter your wallet address (and Destination Tag if you select XRP).

• Double-check that the address is correct—crypto withdrawals sent to the wrong address cannot be recovered.

• Click Save.

3. Initiate a Withdrawal

• Return to the main page and select Withdrawal.

• Enter the amount you wish to withdraw in Japanese Yen (JPY).

• From the method dropdown, select the cryptocurrency you want to receive (e.g., BTC, ETH, USDT, etc.).

• Your previously saved address (and XRP Destination Tag, if applicable) will automatically populate.

• Always double-check that the correct address (and tag) is filled in.

• Click Submit to finalize your withdrawal request.

4. Withdrawal Processing & Timing

• Zentrader covers all conversion fees and network (miner) fees on your behalf.

• Cryptocurrency withdrawals are processed daily (Monday to Friday).

• Once the transaction is processed you will receive an email with a Transaction ID (TxID).

• You can track the status of your withdrawal from the Withdrawal page.

5. Important Notes for Withdrawals

• Correct Address & Tag: Sending to the wrong address or missing XRP Destination Tag (if required) will result in permanent loss of funds.

• Network Choice for Tether USDT: Since withdrawals are TRC-20 only, ensure your external wallet/exchange supports TRC-20 USDT and that your wallet address begins with "T".

• Minimum/Maximum Amounts: Refer to the Withdrawal page for current min/max limits per coin.

• KYC/AML: All withdrawals are subject to Zentrader’s ongoing KYC and AML checks
