Who can open an account?

Anyone aged 18 or over who lives in a country where we offer our service can open an account. You'll need a valid identity document for the identity check, and each person may hold one account.

Countries we can't accept

We can't open accounts for residents or citizens of the countries and territories listed below. In broad terms, these are countries where trading in financial derivatives is prohibited or restricted, and countries subject to FATF sanctions. US citizens are excluded wherever they live. If your country isn't listed and you're still unsure, ask us through the chat before you sign up.

Age

You must be 18 or over. Your date of birth is confirmed during the identity check, so an account opened by anyone younger is closed.

One account per person

Each person may hold a single account, and a second application in the same name is rejected automatically. Family members are welcome to open their own accounts and trade independently. See Can I open more than one account?

Your account's base currency is set by your region when you open the account and can't be changed afterwards.
