Opening an account takes a few minutes and is done entirely on your phone or computer. You register, confirm your email address, fill in your details and complete the identity check; once that passes, your account is activated automatically and you can deposit and trade.
What you need: a valid government-issued photo ID (a passport, driver's licence, My Number card or residence card), a smartphone with a camera for the identity check, your own mobile number, and an email address you can access.
- Register. Go to zentrader.com/en/register and enter your country of residence, your email address and a password of at least 8 characters with upper and lower case letters and numbers, then accept the terms. Double-check the email address: it's where your confirmation goes.
- Confirm your email address. We send you an email with a confirmation link; click it, and you can sign in. See The confirmation email didn't arrive.
- Fill in your details. After signing in, open Personal Information and enter your name, date of birth, mobile number and address exactly as they appear on your ID. These details are checked against the ID in the next step, and they lock once saved, so take care over them.
- Complete the identity check. Start it from the same page, on your phone. You'll take a live photo of your ID and of yourself, and confirm your mobile number with an SMS code. The check is automatic and usually passes within minutes; if your details don't match your ID exactly, it goes to a manual review and takes longer.
- Your account is activated. As soon as the check passes, deposits and trading are unlocked. Make your first deposit from $50 (¥5,000) and you're ready to trade. See How to deposit.
