Your account has one base currency, set automatically from your country of residence when you register. Your balance, deposits, withdrawals, trades and cashback bonuses are all in that currency.
The currency can't be changed while you live in the same country. If you move to another country, contact us and we can switch your account to the currency for your new country of residence. See How to change your personal details.
Paying in a different currency
If your payment method bills you in a different currency, the payment is converted and credited to your account in your account's base currency. Your card issuer or bank may apply its own exchange rate and a conversion fee. Withdrawals are deducted from your balance in your base currency.
Amounts in this help centre
Amounts here are given in US dollars and Japanese yen. If your account is in won, baht or dong, the equivalent in your currency applies. The deposit and withdrawal limits for each currency are on the limits page. See Deposit limits, fees and currencies.
